American Crafts Dear Lizzy Paper + October Afternoon Duckies.
Does it get any cutesy-er?
Can you, should you, use this on a scrapbook layout about a 10 year old boy?
You be the judge:
Here's the story:
"Hey Mom:? Look!? That house is for sale... Do you think I could buy that house when I'm older?"
"If its still for sale, sure."
"Oh.... Because I mainly want to make sure I live close to? you."
***
{ You said this while we were walking with umbrellas in the rain and talked about Mary Poppins and flying umbrellas.? You are still a playful kid? - and no, of course that umbrella didn't make it home in one piece, you played with it the entire walk.? You are also a guy who is looking to the future and I'm glad you want me in it.? I love you.? <3 Mommy. 7/2012"}
Does the Cutesy Work?? I think so.? The Duckies are close to the edge of the page - like they are making their final appearance - and my boy is on the edge of not being a little kid anymore.? And he is sentimental about it.? A week or so ago at bedtime he said something like:
"It feels like my childhood is going so fast, I wish I could just rewind it and live it all over again."
And of course I answered:
"That's why I make the scrapbooks buddy."
